(1)据英国《每日邮报》刊登英国一项新研究对此解析道,蓝莓、草莓等红、蓝、紫色浆果和蔬菜中所含的抗氧化剂花青素具有防止和修复细胞受损的作用。
(2)英国东英吉利大学研究人员的新研究对此作了进一步说明。该研究对9.3万人进行了长达18年的跟踪调查。参试者被分为5组,年龄为25~42岁,他们每4年报告一次饮食情况及影响心脏健康的其他情况。如是否有高血压、心脏病家族病史,体重是否超标或肥胖,是否有锻炼习惯,是否吸烟、饮酒等。

研究认为,年轻时多吃富含花青素的水果、蔬菜,更有助于降低日后患心脏病的危险。花青素有助于提高好胆固醇(高密度脂蛋白胆固醇)水平,同时还可以减少与心脏病有关的体内炎症。除了蓝莓和草莓,富含花青素的食物还有紫茄子、李子和樱桃等。

(2) A new study by researchers at the University of East Anglia goes further. The study followed 93,000 people for 18 years. Besides blueberries and strawberries, eggplant, plums and cherries are good sources of anthocyanins.
